Rademics Research Institute ("Rademics", "we", "us", "our") operates Rademics Copilot, an AI-powered academic manuscript preparation platform accessible at copilot.rademics.com.

2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Data You Provide Directly
- Account information: name, email address, institutional affiliation.
- Payment information: processed securely through third-party payment processors; Rademics does not store card details.
- Research inputs: research topics, tentative titles, and any notes or text you enter into the Platform to generate manuscript content.
- Communication data: emails or messages you send to support@rademics.com.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, phases completed, time spent on the Platform.

4. Your Research Content & AI Processing
Your content belongs to you. Rademics does not claim ownership over any research inputs you provide or manuscript content generated for you. Your content is used solely to operate the Copilot service for your account.
Research inputs that you enter into the Platform are processed by our AI engines to generate manuscript content. This processing occurs on secure servers. We do not:
- Use your research content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
- Share your research content with other users or third parties.
- Retain your manuscript content beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Rademics does not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third parties only in the following circumstances.
5.1 Service Providers
- Payment processing to securely handle transactions.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure to operate and maintain the Platform.
- Email delivery to send transactional emails and support responses.
These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data to provide services to Rademics.
5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose personal data when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rademics, our users, or the public.
5.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify affected users by email before any such transfer takes effect.
5.4 International Transfers
As the Platform is available globally, your data may be processed on servers located outside India. Where data is transferred internationally, Rademics ensures appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for 3 years after account closure for legal and compliance purposes.
- Research inputs and manuscript content are retained while your account is active and for 12 months after your last login, after which they are deleted.
- Payment records are retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax and accounting regulations.
- Support communications are retained for 2 years.
You may request earlier deletion of your data subject to the exceptions noted in Section 7.

9. Data Security

- Restricted internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
Rademics Copilot is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

Rademics may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Platform features. The revised Policy will be published on the Platform with an updated effective date.
