If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Researcher", or "Institution") and Rademics Research Institute ("Rademics", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of Rademics Copilot available at copilot.rademics.com and related services ("Platform").
By registering an account, purchasing a plan, or using any feature of the Platform, including the Free tier, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an institution or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Rademics Copilot is an AI-powered academic manuscript preparation platform. It guides researchers through a structured 9-phase journey from research topic and tentative title through to a publication-ready manuscript in .docx format using specialised AI engines including Neural Synthesis, Gap Mapping, Manuscript Studio, Citation Engine, and Peer Review Prep.
2.1 Service Tiers
The Platform is offered in the following tiers, each subject to the pricing and features published at copilot.rademics.com/pricing:
- Free: Phase 1 Topic Ideation only, at no charge.
- Starter: 1 complete manuscript, all 9 phases, one-time payment.
- Pro: 3 complete manuscripts, all 9 phases, one-time payment.
- Institution S: 15 manuscript seats, seat-based access, one-time payment.
- Institution L: 100 manuscript seats, seat-based access, one-time payment.
2.2 Service Availability
Rademics endeavours to maintain continuous availability of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control may result in temporary unavailability. We will notify users of planned downtime where reasonably practicable.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access paid features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to update your account information promptly if it changes.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@rademics.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
3.3 Eligibility
The Platform is available to users worldwide. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Use by minors is not permitted without verified institutional supervision.
3.4 Institution Accounts
Institutions purchasing seat-based plans are responsible for managing seat assignments through the institution dashboard. The institution administrator is responsible for ensuring that all researchers assigned seats comply with these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
Researcher Ownership: All content you input into the Platform and all manuscript content generated by Rademics Copilot based on your inputs is owned entirely by you, the researcher. Rademics claims no ownership over your research content, manuscript text, or final .docx outputs.
4.1 Your Content
You retain full intellectual property rights over:
- All research topics, titles, notes, and data you input into the Platform.
- All AI-generated manuscript content produced by Copilot based on your inputs.
- All final .docx manuscripts downloaded from the Platform.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the manuscript complies with applicable laws, journal policies, and your institution's guidelines.
4.2 Rademics Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its AI engines, user interface, software, algorithms, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Rademics Research Institute and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without our prior written consent.
4.3 Licence to Use
Rademics grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your own academic research and manuscript preparation purposes, subject to these Terms.
4.4 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Platform, you grant Rademics a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.
5. Permitted and Prohibited Use
5.1 Permitted Use
- Prepare original academic manuscripts for journal submission or institutional purposes.
- Explore research directions using the Free tier Topic Ideation feature.
- Assign manuscript seats to researchers within your institution for Institution plans.
- Download and use final .docx manuscripts for academic publication.
5.2 Prohibited Use
- Submit manuscripts generated by Copilot without appropriate review, revision, and disclosure as required by your target journal or institution.
- Engage in academic fraud, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of AI-assisted content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Platform's AI models, algorithms, or underlying technology.
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorised third parties to access your account.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights or contains malicious code.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Platform without prior written authorisation from Rademics.
6. Payments, Refunds & GST
6.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST at 18% is applicable on all paid transactions and will be added at checkout. A GST-compliant invoice will be issued for every paid transaction.
6.2 Payment
Payment is collected on a one-time basis per tier purchased. There are no recurring subscription charges. Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. Rademics uses secure third-party payment processors; your payment details are not stored on our servers.
6.3 Manuscript Validity
Purchased manuscript slots do not expire. You may use your purchased manuscripts at your own pace without time restriction.
6.4 Refund Policy
- A full refund may be requested within 48 hours of purchase, provided no manuscript has progressed beyond Phase 1.
- No refund is available once a manuscript has been approved past Phase 1 and content has been generated for Phase 2 or beyond.
- Refund requests must be submitted to support@rademics.com with your order reference.
Rademics reserves the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances.
6.5 Price Changes
Rademics reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already made. Updated pricing will be published on the Platform.
7. AI-Generated Content & Academic Integrity
Important Notice: Rademics Copilot is an AI-assisted manuscript preparation tool. The content it generates is intended as a starting framework to be reviewed, refined, and validated by the researcher. Rademics does not guarantee the academic accuracy, originality, or journal acceptance of any generated manuscript.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated manuscript content must be reviewed and verified by you before submission to any journal or institution.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your target journal's policies on AI-assisted writing.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your institution's academic integrity policies.
- Citations generated by the Citation Engine must be verified for accuracy before submission.
- Peer Review Prep feedback is simulated and does not guarantee acceptance by any journal.
- Rademics is not liable for any consequences arising from the submission or publication of Copilot-generated content.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rademics Research Institute disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rademics Research Institute and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, journal rejection, academic or institutional consequences, or interruption of the Platform.
In no event shall Rademics's total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you for the specific plan giving rise to the claim, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Rademics reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that Rademics reasonably determines is harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Downloaded .docx manuscripts already in your possession are not affected by account termination.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@rademics.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided under Section 6.4.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably by contacting Rademics at support@rademics.com. Rademics will endeavour to respond to all dispute notices within 14 business days.
12. Changes to These Terms
Rademics reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, Rademics will notify registered users by email where reasonably practicable.
